EPISODE 30: THE MAGIC TRIO

In the last several years, I have gone on a path to reconnect myself to my passions + the things that I LOVE helping people most with, and I kept coming back to these three- and I couldn’t pick just one.  Even though the realm of what I do is “Financial Coaching”, and it feels like a random sort of things: I promise you, they are more intertwined than you can imagine.


So why Finances? I have been passionate about this for the longest time. As a single mom who is self employed with inconsistent income, I had to learn VERY quickly early on how to smartly budget my money. I also quickly learned that it was never about how much money I MADE, but rather what I did with it that mattered. I learned through life experience + my network marketing business, that I wanted SO BADLY for other people to find the financial freedom I was able to have. I wanted people to know there was a “better way” than how most Americans were living.


Let’s be for real: we in America were not taught to do well with our finances. (I mean, just look at the federal government and how they handle money). Borrowing, in massive debt, spending more than we make, stress…. It’s the norm. But what I know for a fact is, as with most things in life – you cannot change your financial situation in an impactful way with a shitty mindset. You can not change your money habits, when you don’t have an open mind to learn, and the desire to be better. It all starts with mindset.


When I did financial coaching, I quickly realized that people were missing such a key element that I believe would make all the difference: their mindset around finances SUCKED, and they didn’t even know about manifestation, let alone believe in it! Not only that – I realized the type of people who were on their way to being successful, or who already were, in some capacity in their life, their careers/business, etc – they WANTED to do better and be more successful. They took ownership. They had that desire already in them. They were open minded and optimistic. They had goals and dreams. They were not just complacent, watching life pass them by. Not playing the blame game, having a pity party, or coming up with all the reasons why they couldn’t get out of their situation. They wanted to grow and learn.  They understand that they got themselves into a mess, it’s their responsibility to get themselves out – DESPITE how society works against them. Successful people take ownership. Thus, the mindset and manifestation aspect of what I taught quickly took a front row seat


  The last aspect (and perhaps the most perplexing to some) of the trio – is gut health. Yup. Your internal health. It is proven that your gut health is tied to so many aspects of your outer life: your skin, your mental health, your immune system, the way you handle stress, the quality of your sleep… I could go on. So tell me now – just like when we feed our brains with negativity, bad news, and stress – it has an impact on how our brains work, do you not think that when our gut microbiome is being fed toxicity and out of wack – that it would not impact us? I have told people who prioritize work over health that you cannot work from a hospital bed or when you’re dead. You CAN NOT be successful and fulfilled when you are sick, sleep deprived, low energy, depressed, and overall not feeling or looking your best. You just can not. I have tried (and failed) for years. If you need energy to go out there and get a second income to change your financial future – how can you do that when you barely make I through the day as it is? If you get out of debt to have a better life and to help others, to travel, to spend time with your kids – how can you even do those things when you are sick? Prioritize your health. Fuel your body right. Make it a point to move your body.


  This perhaps is arguably the MOST important aspect of the trio, because once you discover the importance of gut health which include: fueling your body right, prioritizing movement and sleep – you will gain the mental health, clarity, energy, and positive attitude to accomplish all your dreams.
