The changing face of wind O&M

December 09, 2014

The wind industry saw a huge number of installs in 2009, and 2010 is shaping up much better than expected. But when 2010 ends, the turbines of ‘09 and earlier will pass out of warranty and move to the service side of the ledger. Their maintenance work could overwhelm the OEMs. So who will take care of them?
Shane Mullins, a researcher at Industrial Info Resources, will answer that question. He’ll also comment on how developments in China could assist the U.S. wind industry, what’s needed in infrastructure improvements, and touch on other key issues affecting the wind industry.
