Dermalogues
S6 Ep5: Diverse Hair with Dr. Crystal Aguh
Kerri is thrilled to welcome Dr. Crystal Aguh, a true star in the world of dermatology and hair, to Dermalogues for a fascinating discussion about diverse hair, textured hair, hair loss and scarring and non-scarring alopecias. Dr. Aguh is an Associate Professor of Dermatology and Director of the Ethnic Skin Program at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Her area of research focuses primarily on skin conditions that disproportionately impact minority populations, with particular emphasis on scarring hair loss and hair care practices.
She is the co-author of the textbook "Fundamentals of Ethnic Hair: The Dermatologist's Perspective" and author of "90 Days to Beautiful Hair." She kindly joined us from Baltimore in the midst of preparing for American Thanksgiving.
