S6 Ep1: Diagnosing and Treating Itch with Dr Brian Kim
Welcome to season 6 of Dermalogues! Our host Dr. Kerri Purdy is thrilled to be back for another season of amazing interviews with leading dermatologists, packed with clinical pearls for you. This season we’re tackling "topics you won’t likely find in a textbook, yet!" We'll also be bringing you two more of our popular Derm Detectives episodes.
We're happy to be kicking off this season with a star in the world of dermatology and itch, Dr Brian Kim. He joins Kerri for a fascinating conversation about itch, work up of itch, and the neuroimmune axis.
Dr. Kim is one of the top researchers worldwide in the study of patients with itch and other skin conditions. He is Vice Chair of Research in the Department of Dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He is also the Director of the Mark Lebwohl Center for Neuroinflammation and Sensation.
