Synopsis for our Marvel Movies 2018 Preview
The movies we discuss on this episode are:
* Black Panther (2018)
* Release date is 15th of February and our review will be out soon after release.
* An excellent cast and some great reactions from the initial premiere in the US this week.
* The two part Black Panther Prelude comic is now available on Comixology if you want something to read in the lead up to the movie. It's a standalone story set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe giving some background on T'Challa and his early time as the Black Panther. * Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018)
* Release date is around the 15th of July
* The latest trailer was released this week and showed another fun tone to the movie and an expanded role for Evangeline Lilly's character of Hope Van Dyne. Watch it below:
* Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
* Release date is 25th of April
* This is the biggie with characters from The Avengers, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man and Guardians of The Galaxy meeting for the first time all is to play for as Thanos arrives looking to destroy them all. We expect to see a Superbowl trailer released this weekend in the US but for the moment here's the original teaser trailer.
* Deadpool 2 (2018)
* Will be released from the 18th of May 2018
* Thanos from Infinity war himself, Josh Brolin has joined the cast of Deadpool 2.
* Will new director David Leitch be able to keep up the fun from Deadpool?
* Here's the fun video that Ryan Reynolds put up teasing the future of Deadpool "No Good Dead".
* Venom (2018)
* The one we know least about and set within the new Spider-Man Homecoming universe we're really interested to see more.
* It's been confirmed that Tom Hardy will be leading the film as Eddie Brock but he'll be joined by an excellent cast including Michelle Williams and Riz Ahmed. We're excited to see what this heavy weight cast can bring to the Marvel Spider-man universe.
