After the Hell’s Kitchen earthquake Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) finds it hard to control his inner Devil; but after meeting up with Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) for a few drinks at Josie’s bar he takes some of Nelson’s case work to focus his mind elsewhere. Luke Cage (Mike Colter) begins to hit the new bar in Harlem – Trouble in Paradise – to get a lead on the mystery surrounding the increasing body count of young men and uncovers a new player in Harlem known as The White Hat. He tracks one of the White Hat’s vans off to dispose of the dead bodies of allies of K’un Lun following an attack by the Hand. There he meets Danny Rand (Finn Jones) who ,believing Luke is somehow connected to the bodies inside the Katana workshop, unleashes the Iron Fist on Luke testing his unbreakable skin. Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) meanwhile calls in the explosive find to the N.Y.P.D. and Feds before snatching evidence collected at the scene. As she investigates a number of shell companies in New York she is warned off pursuing of the case by Jeryn Hogarth (Carrie-Anne Moss) before an encounter with a fearful John Raymond in her apartment leads to Raymond killing himself as Elektra Natchios (Elodie Yung) comes to silence him. As Jessica chases after Elektra, Misty Knight (Simone Missick) catches up with her for her previous indiscretion and arrests her. At the police precinct her interrogation is interrupted as her new and unexpected attorney Matt Murdock arrives to defend her!
