Dr Judith Hudson is a retired teacher, chartered psychologist, assessor, author and researcher of special educational needs. Her specific interest is in congenital developmental disorders, particularly how they impact on literacy development such as dyslexia, ADHD, and disorders on the autism spectrum ASD. An Adjunct Associate in the Education Faculty, College of Art, Law and Education (CALE), University of Tasmania, she has written and taught post-graduate modules in both the UK and Australia, and that focus on dyslexia and specific developmental learning disorders. Judith is also a Board member and Ambassador for Square Pegs Dyslexia Tasmania Support Group Inc.






Judith is extremely knowledgable and an expert in the area of dyslexia and other learning disabilities and it was a wonderful opportunity to listen to her speak in Hobart. Judith spoke about both her work experiences and her personal stories of her husband and grandson both who have dyslexia.






In this podcast, we talk all things dyslexia, its genetic links and how Judith now supports PhD students that have dyslexia.
