S5 E98: The Mesdames of Mayhem, In the Spirit of 13, ft: Catherine Astolfo
Join us weekly for this great series of short interviews with the authors who make up our collective, the Mesdames of Mayhem, and our “Coming Soon!” anthology, In the Spirit of 13.
This week we feature Catherine Astolfo, author of the Emily Taylor mystery series as well as countless other novels and short stories. Catherine tells us about her short story “The Spirit of St. Lewis”, which will appear in our Fall 2022 anthology: In the Spirit of 13.
In 2012, Catherine won the prestigious Arthur Ellis Award for Best Crime Short Story in Canada, for “What Kelly Did.” She’s also a Brampton Arts Award winner. In 2018, she won the Arthur Ellis Award again for the short story, “The Outlier,” published in the Mesdames of Mayhem anthology, Thirteen Claws.
