Ep. 27: The Power of Daily Homeroom Meetings with Inoka Jayasinghe and Jeff Daniel

November 12, 2019

This week we hear from two of our Facility Administrators, Inoka Jayasignhe, leading a center in Covina, CA and Jeff Daniel, leading a center in Southfield, MI—on why it is important to lead daily “homeroom” meetings, and how they do it in their clinics. We define homeroom meetings within the Village as a daily huddle with teammates. Both Jeff and Inoka discuss the value these homerooms bring: they increase morale, are a good way for the team to stay connected, and setting the direction for the day.

Inoka’s tip: Commit to the time. Don’t give up until it becomes habit.

Jeff’s tip: Empower your teammates to host the homerooms, and share accountability for making them happen.

Check out some ideas and tips for hosting your homerooms with the Homeroom Planner on the Villageweb.
