In this episode, Chris and Mike discuss the techniques for detecting extrasolar planets, otherwise known as exoplanets. These are any planet that exists outside of our own solar system, i.e., orbiting around other stars. In recent years, hundreds of exoplanets have been discovered, altering our understanding of how common planets likely are in the universe.
