In 1984 Director Charles Sellier released a film that was consumed by controversy and protest before its release causing the picture to be pulled from theaters a week after it's premiere and chastised by parents and critics alike. It would go on to gain a cult following and spawn 4 sequels and continue to live on in infamy on home video. On November 9th, 1984 Silent Night, Deadly Night was released.
