Bernie the Bear perseveres until he finds just the right breakfast and just the right place to sleep for the winter.
Hello everyone! We hope you enjoyed our new stories this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “A Bed for Bernie,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!
Narrator: Female
Story Begins: 8:40
A Bed for Bernie Excerpt:
There was a slight chill in the morning air. Bernie the Bear shivered. He knew it was getting to be that time…time to find a nice bed for the winter! Bernie stretched from his sleeping spot up on a big tree branch. He rolled up onto his feet, still perched on the branch. Before he did anything else,
though, he needed to eat – he was hungry!
The young black bear began his climb down the tree. Once he got past the big branches, Bernie gave the tree a hug and slid the rest of the way, landing on the ground with a thud. Now for breakfast!
Today’s Meditation: Today, notice loving energy flowing through your body, from your feet up to your head.
