Matthew 13:53-58
The people of JESUS’ hometown had known JESUS since HE was a young child.  HE lived in Nazareth for about thirty years. They knew HIS family well. Yet they could not come to believe JESUS’ Message. They thought, “Surely this common, young man, couldn’t be a Prophet, much less the Messiah!â€Â  Perceptions and assumptions blinded them to the obvious.
