Matthew 12:1-14

Over many decades the Pharisees added to the Scriptures 39 classes of prohibitions of what a person could do or not do on the Sabbath.  This day could become a legalistic straitjacket instead of a day of blessing.  Our Savior used a truth about the Sabbath to teach a more important lesson to all of us.
