Brain Healing With Body Recovery
One evocative patient experience involved a 50 year old woman with malignant hypertension referred by her concerned physician. Working conjointly with the physician and patient, I helped her radically reduce her overweight, reduce tension by coping adaptively with her dysfunctional family, begin an exercise regimen, and enter a new, more satisfying, less-stressful career path.
~ Peter McCusker
Dr. McCusker's Body Recovery Insights - Started As A Dropout
"I grew up in working-class Southwest Philadelphia. From about 13 to 17, I "hung out" at an approximately 60% African American housing project where I and other white and black kids played sports together. One of the high schools that I attended was about 95% white and the other, about 50% white and 50% black.

Like many from my neighborhood, I quit high school to join the military. Yes, I was a dropout."

* Listen to his message, he certainly doesn't sound like a dropout!

Body Recovery Started Young
"In the Marines, en route to South Viet Nam, I turned eighteen. After Viet Nam, among other things, I was Corporal of the Guard at guided missile facilities in Brunswick, Maine, and Rota, Spain. While in the service, I finally passed a GED exam. After discharge, I earned bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in psychology.

As a licensed psychologist for forty years, I now work on many levels with children, adolescents, and adults in private settings, schools, hospitals, and outpatient clinics, and I have taught multiple psychology courses."

Integrated, body recovery activities connect with any introspective mind review.
