In today's episode we speak with Eli David of Becomenomad.com. Eli has been any digital nomad for the past four years.
According to Eli, creating a story is very important when marketing your business and travel allows you the opportunity to create a unique and compelling story around your business.
Eli believes when he travels, the best place for him to stay in the city because it allows the opportunity to connect with more people. Staying in the city also allows him to maintain a bit of stability and building his business.
How Eli Earns An Income
Eli started generating income by freelancing at Odesk.com and Elance.com when he first started his nomadic lifestyle.
According to Eli
You're not necessarily going to know what services you are going to provide when you start freelancing. However once you start, you will get an opportunity to see what services are needed and then move into that area.
Eli recommends going to places like India where the cost of living is much lower so you can freelance while building your business in the process of traveling to other places.
Later in his travels Eli started a start up call lingerlearn.com which teaches people around the world in different languages. It's one of his primary start ups that supports his business.
Advice to entrepreneurs
Find a good partner who can help you build your company
Be sure your partner's skills complement your skill sets
When you're starting, create a business which creates revenue quickly.
Build fast and Get to the client as soon as possible with your product or service.
