S1E5: Commitment, Covenant & Paradox

April 29, 2018

Common Good Podcast is conversations at the intersection of place, belonging & remembering. The framework for the podcast is the relationship of three scholars who’s life work have shaped and informed one another. Walter Brueggemann, Peter Block and John McKnight are notable thought leaders in their own rights but at this point in there careers their work has begun to shape the others. In fact, their friendship becomes a model for how the common good shows up in local, tangible, relational ways.

In the fifth episode, Walter, Peter and John discuss the nature of commitment as it is expressed in covenant and the paradox of neighborliness. You can learn more about the works of Walter, Peter and John, as well as the Common Good Fellowship and the daily email at commongood.cc
