Celia’s career trajectory showcases her deep commitment to social service and legal expertise, beginning with her graduation in 1990 and rapid movement into a key role at the City of Toronto. This early experience laid the groundwork for her involvement with an environmental NGO before propelling her into law school at 35. Celia’s legal career flourished at Iler Campbell, focusing on nonprofit and cooperative housing, where she dedicated 17 years to resolving communal living complexities, notably in housing cooperatives.
