Detective Haartte takes a night off to enjoy a live musical production. But he should have known better than to think that trouble ever takes a holiday. Soon enough, light opera turns into heavy crime. One of the cast members is found dead during intermission. And they aren't acting! Can Haartte figure out who caused the untimely demise of Duke Bassett? Can you? Match wits with Middling Fair's best (and only) private detective in this baffling case of music, mayhem and murder.
