The Cocktail Party Congress

14: Judicial Jabronis Drink Negronis
The Supreme Court- cornerstone of the American Republic, keepers of the Constitution. Is it safe from a couple of drunks with a podcast? Probably. Don’t let that deter you from listening in, though. On this episode of the Cocktail Party Congress, Dan and J.T. drink their way through the Judicial Branch and stagger their way into Article III, raising all sorts of questions along the way. Is the Supreme Court safe from partisanship? What power do they actually have? What exactly is this thing called treason? How does one make a negroni?
The last question is very easy to answer. You’ll need your rocks glass filled with ice, and then you’ll add 1 ounce of your favorite gin (something on the sweeter side like Old Tom Gin works great for these), 1 ounce of Campari, and 1 ounce of sweet red vermouth. Give it a stir, garnish with an orange peel, and enjoy.
We know it’s been a while since our last episode, and we’ll do our best to keep them coming. As always, we encourage you all to drink and think responsibly. In Vino Veritas!
