The Cocktail Party Congress

08: Riding the Sidecar with Amendments V and VI
Your hosts had no idea exactly where this discussion of the 5th and 6th amendments would lead, but it's worth remembering that even dry topics like due process of law can evoke passionate, uncomfortable conversations given the social problems of the day.
Dan and J.T. touch on some sensitive subject matter relating to recent news stories and the #MeToo movement, so listeners who have been personally effected by sexual violence may find the discussion extra-discomforting. Your hosts tried their best to engage the topic carefully and responsibly, but we understand that ultimately you'll be the judge of that.
This episode's featured cocktail is the Sidecar! To drink along at home, you will need 2 oz. of cognac, 1 oz. of triple-sec and 1 oz. of fresh lemon juice. Wet the rim of a cocktail glass and roll it around in sugar to coat the outside, then add the ingredients to a cocktail mixer with ice and shake for 15 seconds. Strain into the glass and enjoy!
Remember to drink (and think) responsibly. In Vino Veritas!
