This week on Coasthawk Talk our host Nick Swinmurn is joined by longtime friend, former UFC fighter, and serial entrepreneur Josh Koscheck. To start our show they dive into some of Josh’s business ventures after retiring from MMA competition. They jump into Josh purchasing a motocross and off-road vehicle racing series called Full Gas Sprint Enduro, and what transitioning out of competition towards the end of his UFC career was like for him.

Nick and Josh talk about what Josh focuses most of his attention on business wise, which would be his company Check Defense. As they progress through the episode they talk about what mentors were present along his entrepreneurial career, and Josh tells us what life lesson he gives his son every single day. To end the episode Josh actually flips the script on our host and asks Nick a couple questions that lead to some great insight about handing over the reins, and when it is time to do so.
