Cinema For All Podcast
Digital Releases During Lockdown
The Cinema For All Podcast is a celebration of going to the cinema.
In this episode, co-hosts Abi and Jaq broadcast from home again as part of our mini-series on cinema life during lockdown. This time, they discuss how film distributors are are reacting to the health crisis through VOD releases and filmmaker watch parties – featuring call-in clips from Altitude Releasing, Violet Pictures, Mubi and Jon Seal the director of The Teachers’ Protest. We also hear from Leigh Film Society about their DVD drop off service, which is helping their community stay connected, and Cine CCC all the way in Chile!
They also catch up about which films they’ve been watching recently (The Servant, Wild, Good Time, Wild at Heart and Red Dragon) and generally have a Laura Dern love-in.
