When I planned a show during the weekend that I knew I would be out of town, in what’s been called ‘Beer City USA’ over and over - I had a brilliant plan to just pretend we were still in Cincinnati, drink a few Cincy beers and talk about what’s been going on in our beer scene recently. Little did I know the giddiness of just being in Asheville would showcase itself front and center. While this isn’t an episode “about” Asheville... it’s definitely a show in Asheville. We dug into the beer fridge and cracked open a crowler of Asheville beer to complete the circle - and drank our way through a full segment of ‘From The Beer Fridge’ that included a few tasty goodies that I brought into town with me.
