There are many sides to the craft beer world.  I have always tried as hard as possible to use Cincy Brewcast as a vehicle to bring to you the owners, the brewers and the drinkers of Cincinnati's craft beer... and this is the first time that we've gotten a chance to also bring you an in depth look into the distributors of it as well.

I was joined by Michael Amann, from Adena Distributing the areas most recent (by far) beer distributor to get a peek behind the scenes at not just why you would start a distributor, but what exactly their role is in the whole bigger picture of it all.

We drank a few beers from their supported brands, and used it as a way to talk about a few of our local breweries (and one that I hadn't tried before) and to build a picture of what it means to be a craft, craft distributor in a city that's as beer-centric as Cincinnati.
