Cincy Brewcast
Volume 3 - Episode 29 - DogBerry. Cans, Haze, And Staying The Same
It’s been way too long since I’ve done a show at West Chester’s DogBerry Brewing Company. This brewery has been a fun one to watch over the last year, as they’ve grown from being a nano brewery into a neighborhood gathering spot, pumping out 20 unique taps from their shiny new 10bbl brewhouse, and they're putting cans on shelves this week. What I’ve seen is a brewery growing up, and balancing the act of growing with remaining the same in the aspects that made their fans fall in love with them in their original space. They’ve done beautifully.
I joined owner and head brewer Tony Meyer, along with Brent Garland, DogBerry’s “new” head of Sales to talk about not just how DogBerry has grown, but to dig into some of their new exciting news. The brewery is releasing their first cans into the market this week - and that coupled up with the tapping of their first NE IPA means that they had plenty to share!
I was joined by a special co-host this week, too, David McKinney - who’s started blogging his journeys through craft beer recently, all around Cincinnati (and beyond). I though the unique voice would lend a nice new flavor to the show. Enjoy this weeks episode, and as always make sure you share it with all your friends. For the easiest and most up-to-date way to snag new episodes, make sure that you’re subscribed to the show on whatever your favorite podcast medium is!
