This week, pastor Phil speaks about giving.  All throughout scripture, God makes it clear that giving and tithing are important aspects to our faith in Him.  Giving not only empowers the church to do the work of God, but it also causes you to surrender your financial life.  The good news is that God promises to bless us when we give!

“Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.” -Luke 6:37

“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,†says theLord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!” -Malachi 3:10

God even tells His people to put him to the test when it comes to giving Him the full tithe!  When we put God before our money, he will ensure that we have an over abundance of all that we need!  WHen God is number one in our lives, everything else falls into place!
