Pre-code Hollywood was the brief time in the American Film Industry when the motion picture production code was not being enforced. Wes explores how the films of this time period have influenced modern TV and film. A few of the films Wes discusses in this episode are "The Public Enemy" (1931), "Safe in Hell" (1931), and "It Happened One Night" (1934).
