Episode 18: The death of Liberty "Libby" Rose German in Delphi, Indiana

February 10, 2020

For this episode I spoke to Carrie, who is the mother of a teenager named Liberty Rose German. She went by Libby. On February 13th, 2017, Libby and her friend Abigail Williams were dropped off near the Monon High Bridge, just east of Delphi, Indiana. Unfortunately, the girls would never be seen alive again.

The missing girls were found deceased on Feb. 14, 2017, around 50 feet from Deer Creek and a half mile east of the bridge on the Delphi Historic Trails in Carroll County, Indiana.

February 14, 2020 will mark the three year anniversary of when the girls were found murdered. I asked Carrie about her relationship with her daughter Libby and about the investigation. Unfortunately, she still doesn’t know how her daughter died or what happened to her. She informed me that the autopsy has been sealed. Imagine losing your daughter, burying her and then still having no answers.

If you know anything about who murdered Libby German or Abby Williams, you can call the following numbers:

The official tip line: (844) 459-5786
Indiana State Police: (800) 382-7537
Carroll County Sheriff: (765) 564-2413
