Catch my Killer
Episode 17: The violent murder of Joyner Ondimu
On February 8, 2005, Joyner Ondimu was found murdered in her Newark, Delaware apartment. Someone had violently beaten her to death. Joyner was from Kenya and attended nursing school before her life was taken by a vicious killer. In this episode, I interviewed Sarita, who was Joyner's best friend. For 15 years, she has waited for Delaware police to arrest her friend's killer.
When Joyner died, three of her cousins were inside the apartment. They all claimed they didn't hear anything. Sarita said this is difficult to believe because she had spent the night in the apartment and said you could hear conversations and movement. Sarita also believes the three cousins have since returned to Africa. Do you know who killed Joyner Ondimu?
