Episode 11: The mysterious death of Tanner Barton
On April 22, 2012, Tanner Barton was found dead at a friend's house. Originally, it was thought he died from a medical issue. Michelle Barton, Tanner's mother, began looking into her son's death and has many unanswered questions. For instance, after reviewing pictures of the death scene, Tanner's shoes were missing. And then there was the question of the toxicology reports. Three of them were completed and all three had different results. How was this possible?
Michelle believes that her son was given something that contributed to his death. She also has issues with the family’s story about how Tanner died in their home. The family claimed that their teenage daughter found Tanner's body, checked his pulse and then left him on the floor. Allegedly, she didn't tell her parents or call 911.
MIchelle has spoken to law enforcement, her county's coroner without any luck in getting help. She has also appeared on Nancy Grace and Dr. Oz for help. She still has no answers to how her son died. She has hopes that someone will listen to her and have the courage to step up and provide a useful tip that will finally reveal the truth about what really happened to her son Tanner. If you know anything about this case, please contact Michelle directly with tips. She can be reached through either of her Facebook pages: In Memory of Tanner Barton or Tanner’s Voice.
