Calvinist Batman & Friends
The Jehovah Witnesses Have Fired Bob Ross!
Due to a rescheduling issue, this episode is appearing ealier than the date it was orginally recorded for.
What an episode this week! I was delighted to have Tanner from The Reformed Pubcast on the show and it led to some fun and interesting conversations. After Tanner introduces himself and talks about what he is drinking (hint: what I gave him), we talk about watching the James White debate together! We both share our thoughts about it. Needless to say, it was a great event. James White is an excellent debater. I also talk about the upcoming Gospel Coalition Conference coming up April 13-15 in Orlando, FL. Kyle James Howard (@SuperTheologian) and I will be there (2/3 of the @TheologyLeague team) and will be doing a meetup Tuesday night. After that we played a humorous game of "Would You Rather?" in which Tanner decides to keep something close to him.
After the game, Tanner and I talked about some good TV shows, mainly "Better Call Saul", the prequel/sequel to "Breaking Bad". If you hate TV, you're not going to like this episode, because we talk about it for a LONG time. I also give a mention to "Person of Interest", which in my belief is the best network show on TV right now. We also mention "Gotham" and why we don't really care too much for it.
Long after all the fun and games, we talk about Easter and Passion Week. We both talk about our favorite moments in the Easter story. We also talk about the amazement of the Easter story.
