It’s a lengthy but glorious episode this week. I had Matthew Coker (aka Back Row Believer) join me for some fun and games, as well as some serious talk. I gave Matthew a Justin Bieber quiz to see if he should be called Back Row Belieber.

After the laughs, Matthew talks about his testimony and how God delivered him from a serious (and criminal) porn addiction. Afterwards, I talk about my testimony about how God saved me from homosexuality. I also talk about why that deliverance (eventually) cemented my theology into Calvinism.

We talk about progressive sanctification and also practical ways to gain freedom while God is freeing you from a sexual addiction. We also talk about how to combat guilt and shame and how the church can balance sexual purity and being a help to those who are struggle with sexual sin.
