On tap this week: too many church services, wearing your friend’s wedding ring, whiskey, when you know you’re a Calvinist, Kidcasts, a special debut, being a better parent, and dealing with anger.

Well, that’s the short version. I was thrilled to have Les from Reformed Pubcast join the show this week. Basically, I decided to steal his show and do a satire of it.

I talk about being “overchurched†due to all the services I’ve been at this week while Les talks about his awkward relationship with Tanner’s wedding ring. After talking about whiskey a little, we play a voicemail asking “when does one know that they are a Calvinist and no longer an Arminian?†It was a great question and we both attempt to answer it.

Afterwards, I played a game with Les called “Would You Rather†where Les has to choose between being a human turtle or living like a hamster. Then we talk about Les’ new project: The Reformed Kidcast. We talk about how it began and the idea behind it. We then play a voicemail from my most beautiful wife. To answer the voicemail, Les brings on his wife, Erin, FOR HER PODCASTING DEBUT! We talk about parenting, grace, struggles, and how to wage war on personal anger.
