Anita Teresa is the founder of the ground-breaking Sex & Medicine Summit, and creator of The Embodied Femme.  Her unique offerings stem from an extensive background in the holistic health and healing field. Anita was a founding member of the Department of Integrative Health Programs at NYU Langone Medical Center, helping to grow & innovate their programs over a five-year period through providing yoga, Qi Gong, dance, hypnosis, and other holistic offerings to thousands of patients and staff.

Anita has appeared on the Dr. Oz Show, and has been interviewed on Doctor Radio, News 12 NJ, Progressive Radio Network, and others, sharing her expertise on vitalizing practices and sexual well-being. She has been a four-time presenter at the national women’s conference, “Goddess on the Go,” and an expert wellness panelist for the Queen’s County Lawyer’s Assistance Program. In 2014, she was a presenter at the annual “Heal Thy Practice” Conference for medical professionals, in Westchester, NY.   Most recently, she served as a guest speaker in Negril, Jamaica for a women's retreat, and was invited to speak at the Women's Economic Forum in New Delhi, India in May.  Anita leads through presence, driven by a passion for experiential knowledge and body-centric wisdom.
