Jesus came to set the record straight. He came to re-teach the people and to set them free. Jesus did not come to be popular or famous; He came to do the will of God—teaching, preaching, and healing those that needed a miracle. Jesus preached and taught with great authority all while having a loving, servant-type humbleness about Him. Jesus, showing us His mighty power and authority, also showed us the importance of having moments of solitude with God. We all, as God’s children, should stop and make time for prayer, for direction, and for strength.
