Who is God to you: Father or Grandfather? The world believes that God is a grandfather. Grandfathers are meant to give you whatever you want because they want you to enjoy the moment without thought of the future. It is no fun to realize that God is a father if you are only in it for the blessings. God as a father sees how the decisions of the now affect the outcome of our future. He does not give us what we want if what we want is outside His plan, purpose, and principles.

We can have faith to believe for things unseen, and we can hope for those dreams God has placed in our hearts; however, if we attempt to live outside the principles, purpose, and plan God created in and for us, we will not get very far. Our lives will not thrive. It is like putting water in the gas tank of your car and expecting it to run. If you try to make it work the way it was not designed to work then it will not work.

God created us with a plan and a purpose. That plan and purpose is released in the House. If you don’t like church because it makes you angry, then good! That is a healthy place to be, for if you are not mad at the church every month, you are not involved enough! You are mad because you are passionate! God gets mad at us because He is passionate about us, who we are, and what we can do! Passion for the House is important! Service is important. God has called us to serve.
