Self-Deception is common in today’s fallen world. Deception causes the victim to believe a lie. It is one of the greatest works of the enemy. After all he is the father of lies.  Deception comes in many forms and often goes undetected by the one who is self-deceiving. Self-deception is one of the most dangerous forms of deception. It is hard to detect and difficult to eliminate.  When dealing with self-deception it is closely associated with the spirit of pride and the spirit of sabotage. 
The Spirit of deception would love to keep you from being who God has called you to be. You are God’s beautiful creation fearfully and wonderfully made. Father has called you to be original, not a carbon copy of anyone. God desires you to be the best version of you. Get to know you. Finding yourself can be challenging especially if you don’t know where to start.
