Darkness Vs. Light – Who’s Really Winning?
Chaos. Darkness vs. Light. When you scroll through the news or social media, it’s easy to think darkness is unfolding at record speed.
So, what’s the deal? Is this an epic battle where we need to rally the troops? Nope. That’s old-school thinking. Let’s flip the script and dive into what’s really happening with the balance of light and dark—and why light is absolutely taking the lead.
This theme of light vs. darkness is deeply embedded in religious, philosophical, and cultural traditions. It symbolizes the eternal struggle between good and evil, knowledge and ignorance, and spiritual enlightenment versus delusion.
Misconceptions of Balance
Many believe that the light and dark must be equal, like the scales of justice—but what if that’s not the case? What if light is actually growing, outpacing the darkness, regardless of what you might be seeing in the world right now?
I’m going to explore why light is more powerful than dark. I’ll talk aout how the balance is spiritually. Most importantly—how can YOU strengthen and shine your own light in today’s world which needs it so much.
First, I’m going to address the misconceptions about balance. Imagine Lady Justice which is probably familiar—picture two scales balanced in perfect harmony on either side of a women dressed in the clothing of ancient Greece and blindfolded. Classic, right?
But did you know she originated in ancient Egypt? Yup – from the Egyptian Goddess Maat, who stood for truth, justice, and cosmic order. She would weigh a person’s heart against a feather to determine their fate in the afterlife.
The scales of justice carried forward into ancient Greek and Roman mythology. Yet, when you think about it, the scales are rarely depicted as perfectly balanced. More often they tilt—one side rising while the other falls.
This visual has reinforced a common misunderstanding: that darkness increases as light diminishes. That’s not how energy works!
Darkness vs. Light -They Are NOT Equals
Most people picture light vs. dark like some kind of cosmic seesaw. If one side goes up, the other must go down, right? Wrong. That’s a total misconception.
Think about it—darkness doesn’t actually exist on its own. It’s just the absence of light. The moment you introduce even the tiniest spark, darkness disappears. It doesn’t fight back or push against the light. It just doesn’t exist anymore.
We’re conditioned to believe in balance, like Lady Justice holding her scales. Believe it or not, that image scales was inspired by Maat, an Egyptian goddess who weighed a person’s heart against a feather. If your heart was heavy with lies and fear, you failed the test. If it was light with truth and wisdom, you moved forward.
See where I’m going? Light doesn’t just exist alongside darkness. It transforms it.
Light Is Multiplying
If it feels like things are more intense than ever, that’s because they are. But not for the reasons you may think.
Kryon, a channeled entity by Lee Carol said something fascinating about the light. He says today’s light is different. It doesn’t just illuminate more brightly—it multiplies. It creates more light and is self-sustaining. That changes everything.
For years, light workers had to work hard to maintain their glow. It felt like one step forward, one step back. But now? Light is spreading at a rate never seen before. It’s gaining momentum, expanding on its own, and—this is the best part, it’s irreversible.
You can’t un-know what you’ve awakened to. Once the light is on, darkness can’t reclaim that space.
Why Darkness Feels Bigger
If light is winning, why does darkness seem so… intense?
Because darkness is panicking and scrambling. Darkness struggles as it recognizes that it’s being outshined. Think of this like darkness throwing a massive tantrum on the way out. Or like a villain in the final act of a movie—right before they go down, they get desperate, dramatic, and destructive.
The systems that thrived on secrecy, fear, and division are starting to crumble. The institutions that relied on people staying small and uninformed are beginning to lose control. And they know it.
Here’s the kicker – darkness needs your fear to survive. It has no power of its own. Darkness can only grow if you feed it with worry, doubt, and division. But the moment you choose light, even for a second, you weaken its hold.
This is why people waking up in droves is so powerful. Every single person who chooses kindness over hate, courage over fear, and love over resentment chips away at the old energy and negativity. This is how we conquer in a world where it seems darkness vs. light is happening.
How To Shine Even Brighter
You don’t have to be perfect or a guru on a mountaintop. You just have to be yourself—as fully, authentically, and unapologetically as possible.
Here are eight ways to amplify your light:
- Meditate, even for five minutes. Stillness increases your energy.
- Get outside. Nature is a powerhouse of light energy.
- Surround yourself with high-vibe people. Your energy matters.
- Drop the fear. It’s not helping, and it’s not real.
- Practice gratitude. Nothing raises your vibration faster.
- Follow your intuition. That gut feeling? It’s your soul speaking.
- Create something. Art, music, writing—light loves expression.
- Be of service. Every act of kindness is a ripple of light expanding outward.
It’s not about battling darkness—it’s about choosing to shine so brightly that darkness has nowhere to hide.
The World Needs Your Light
Think of yourself as a lighthouse. Does a lighthouse chase away the darkness? No. It simply stands tall and radiates light onto the coastline, helping boaters find their way.
What a relief! You don’t need to fight anything. You don’t need to struggle. Just be the light which inspires others to do the same. And collectively? We become an unstoppable force.
When it comes to darkness vs.light, the darkness is NOT winning. It’s just making a lot of noise on the way out. Light is rising, expanding, and taking the lead. And the best part? You’re part of that!
So, keep shining. The world is brighter because of you.
