The cuts are affecting the poor,
vulnerable and disabled disproportionately more than the rest of us. In this
episode we interview Katie a young woman with disabilities, on her experience of how the
cuts have affected her, her way of life and the fears she has for the future.
Cuts in social care and benefits can have a double impact on those with disabilities. As mentioned in the podcast a recent article

benefits cuts.What price in human suffering?' How austerity has affected social care.The present benefit system and supporting
organisations are often found treating people with disabilities as workshy scroungers.
