White people have to change...

And, when White people are ready to change, then the racial dynamics will change.
Whenever I ask Black people what can we - as Black people - do in order to heal the racial divide, I usually get an answer that presents a hopeless outlook: waiting for White people to find it in their hearts to benevolently abandon notions of supremacy and privilege. But, really: who sees that happening?
