“I am passionate about helping others overcome trials and understand the necessity of processing pain.

I believe that if you want to break free from broken patterns in life, and transcend the pain we all experience, then shifting your mindset is essential.

Coming from the tumultuous environments I have been in, I am quite familiar with many types of pain. I moved away from home at age 17. Was married by 19 with a baby at age 20. Divorced at 21. Then before my 22nd birthday, I had my own child and 3 step-children to care for.  Most of us understand that it’s not the circumstance but what you do with it that counts. I also like to point out that it’s not our mistakes that define us either and that there’s no place low enough that God’s hand can’t reach us.  We are all perfectly imperfect with human frailties and fixed mindsets from our past. The good news is, we have the power to overcome all that. And with God, all things are possible.

I am an artist of pen and pallet. I’ve always used writing and painting to express what I feel in my soul. Most scholars agree that it takes 10,000 hours to become a master at something but I was not put in an environment that would allow me to do that. I was a sterling scholar in art but received very little formal training. It is God who gave me my talents. He is the one who moves my pen and paintbrush. God gave me these gifts of creative expression to help me cope, and so I could help others move through their challenges with greater ease.”
