On the latest edition of Big Fight Weekend, host T.J. Rives is here to recap British World Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua’s TKO win Saturday night over Russian contender Alexander Povetkin. T.J. gives his thoughts on Joshua’s performance and then is joined again, by U.K. boxing writer/analyst David Payne. David wrote on his site, boxingwriter.co.uk, that Joshua may have gotten more than he bargained for with Povetkin’s punching power. David also gives us insight on if Britain is still buzzing about Joshua after the weekend and whom he will fight next in April. Then, T.J. is joined by Tim Smith of Haymon Productions and Premier Boxing Champions. They discuss the heavyweight title fight that’s just been signed by them between American Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury of the U.K. for December 1st. Plus, Tim gives insight into a possible Wilder/Joshua future fight and also talks about PBC’s new multi year television deal with Fox Sports, just recently signed and announced.
