The Whole Grains Council defines ancient grains as typically unchanged over the last several hundred years and largely intact as compared to grains that have been cross-bred more recently. This episode covers the many benefits to your body of various ancient grains including:
- protein to carbohydrate ratio
- which ones have the ability to lower cholesterol
- which ones are gluten free
- fiber and weight regain
- fiber and constipation
