#36 Closing the Japanese Gender Gap in Tech - Asumi Saito
Hot off the heels of our discussion on female entrepreneurship in Japan, we're continuing our discussion on the Japanese tech industry and the role of women.
Asumi Saito is the co-founder of Waffle.org, a non-profit that empowers and educates girls to close the gender gap in tech. She studied Econometrics and Data Analysis at the University of Arizona, where she also learned about human rights through the community of Tucson, and started her first career as a data scientist. Her interest also lies in athletics, gov tech, and poverty reduction. Asumi is an incredibly interesting and awesome human being - be sure to join us for what promises to be a very insightful conversation.
