Friends, I know many of you are looking for a way to go deeper with God this year. Many of you would like to build deeper relationships with your friends and learn to follow Jesus together. I invite you to consider a season of Kingdom IQ learning. Last year I organized a season of learning for my friends that took us through about 5 months of weekly readings and conversations. We met at least monthly for round table discussions, but you could meet weekly around coffee and snacks to discuss what God is teaching you through each Learning Guide. This is all you would need to do, based on how we developed the materials to have rich discussion questions and learning activities, to host a season of raising your community's Kingdom IQ over the next few months. Why not start in January?

Think of it this way: there are three important stages to growing into the people of God, the Church, that we are destined to become. First, we must embrace who we are in God's love. This is basis of the Kingdom IQ learning season. Secondly, we must imagine ourselves coming together as a community of faith and becoming the ordered household of God. This is previewed in the Kingdom IQ season but might be discovered in the video series from the Soma resources. Here is a single video intro from them. Finally, we need a deepening of leadership qualities and skills so our pioneering and caregiving teams continue to help us multiply what we have received from God. This will be best be discovered in personal mentorship with the addition of training tools like the Antioch School. Now, back to my point: some of you need to begin with laying the foundation of God's love in your lives and going deeper into your amazing, new, beautiful identity in Christ. It is an impossible proposal for the immature and the uninspired to imagine a better Church life if God's love has not been lain into the foundations of our hearts. Why not start Kingdom IQ with a few of your friends in January?

Most all of them have challenging questions and discussion starters that will help you learn. They are not too long, and can easily be accomplished, sometimes two per week, in order to complete a season of learning together. Contact me if you have any questions.
