10:14pm – Kicking off the 2nd hour is 2nd time guest and BBQ/food writer for the San Antonio Express-News, Chuck Blount. Tonight, Chuck and I will talk about how the all mighty hamburger is making its way into more and more traditional BBQ restaurants and why that trend is growing. We will also discuss how that trend will affect how he (and other food reviewers) evaluate the BBQ restaurant…can you score down if some place does great BBQ but makes an average burger?

10:35pm – My pal Kevin Sandridge, from The BBQ Beat podcast, joins me to talk about his experience at this past Weekend’s Memphis in May event. Kevin did not compete but he saw a bunch of stuff happen and will share his thoughts on the 2022 version of this world famous cook-off!!
