Taking you back to 2017 – Clarence Joseph of Momma and Poppa Joe’s BBQ joined me.  This time of year brings the San Antonio Rodeo and BBQ Cook Off.  Back in 2016, CJ won that event and, during this visit, I had him back on to talk about his chances of going back to back GC at that event…we also talked about what it was like for him to teach competition BBQ classes…and then have his students go out and beat him at the events that followed later in those years…a bitter sweet issue that we talked about!  If you aren’t familiar with CJ, he is as genuine as they come, an incredible human and a great competition cook…so this is something I know you will enjoy.
