July 12, 2011 - One of the most successful competition cooks in KCBS, Mike Davis from Lotta Bull BBQ was the guest back then.  We talked about a recent win at a competition he was at and we talked a bit about when the team decides to make changes to their cooking program as meats start to not score as well.  If you are a competition cook I think this information will still hold true even 10+ years removed from the original conversation.  Mike Davis is always a great guest and when it comes to the American Royal, few have won the open and invitational as many times as Lotta Bull has...do a little research and see where they stack up...it’s pretty impressive!  I think you’ll enjoy this “best moments” whether you compete or not!
