This was Jim’s debut appearance on the show and we talk about how he got into competition BBQ…and specifically Florida competition BBQ. We also talked about his experience doing different events sanctioned by different governing bodies…one thing is for certain…as Jim’s competition career wore on, he became a winner in many different sanctioning bodies and many different events in general. Perhaps one of the most underrated competition cooks of our time…is Jim Elser of Sweet Smoke Q.
